Yes, traditionally, in the Chicago area, it's the seller's attorney who chooses which title company will be used.

You're going to want to find a plumbing contractor. They'll probably be a little bit better at actually installing new pipe systems. I'd recommend talking to remodeling general contractors to see who they know. I'll bet they know some companies that do a good job and removing and installing new pipes in existing structures. http://www.dependableplumbingga.com/Plumbing-Services ... more

I have many lenders that I have used in the past, my first recommendation is your bank. If you're happy with the bank you're currently with they have loan specialist everywhere. When looking for a local Punta Gorda Lender; always ask the Realtor you're working with.

Jim Sweat answered:
Short sale pricing is so confusing because there is so much more going on than just listing and selling a home.

An "approved price" could mean that the asset manager at the bank has agreed they would accept that amount for the home. HOWEVER, that offer may still need to be approved by the investor behind the scenes; PMI (mortgage insurance) has say in the approval; and if there is another lien (2nd morgtage) then what they are willing to accept gets negotiated.

The approved price has only been approved by one of several decision makers, and until the rest of them agree, you do not have a short sale approval at that price.

All the Best,
Jim Sweat

Good answers below, KEY IS THAT EVERYTHING IN NEGOTIABLE. The standard FAR/BAR contracts for sale and purchase spell out responsibility, but they are amendable. So, read everything you are aksed to sign.
