Hello David,
The property values in the St Petersburg area are on the rise for sure. The homes at Waterside at Coquina Key have increased significantly within the South Village however are a little slower to rise in the North Village. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance to you.

Waterside at Coquina Key is a nice complex. It is in an area that is still in transition but that is what makes it so desireable to so many. Depending on what you are looking for this property is well worth a review. ... more

Since you stated the closing "was delayed while the bank worked to clear up the title" I am asuming this is a REO or bank owned property. Every bank adds their own addendums to the contract which usually state they supercede all other parts of the contract that might confilct with them. Look to the verbage in your contract. As far as rights, these are all legal questions and you should seek a real estate attorney's advice.

I am a little confused by your statement that the house is in a different state than where the offer was made? The home is in St. Pete? Did you use Florida contracts? Make sure the real estate attorney you pursue is licensed in Florida, laws vary by state. Good luck!
