Each HOA ( Homeowners Association) determines their own fees. These fees are charged to each homeowner to cost of community maintenance and is dependant upon what they cover/maintain. Additionally, some HOA communities have more amentites than others. HOA fees that are collected may cover items such as: building insurance, water/sewer, roof repairs/roof replacement, common area maintenance, cable, amenities etc. The HOA is a mandatory fee assessed by each separate community that can be charged to the home owner on a monthly or quarterly basis. If you have any questions on a particular community, I have most of the community HOA numbers on my website which is: http://homesforsalewellingtonfl.com/ The HOA link is on the bottom right hand side of my page.

My clients in Georgian Courts pay an HOA fee of $150 and is billed monthly. It covers exterior building insurance, common area maintenance, painting of the exterior of the townhomes, pool maintenance.

Dear Melissa,

Boynton Beach and the surrounding areas are a fantastic place to call home. So much has to do with your specific needs and budget before we can determine the best locations to recommend. One of my favorite sites when it comes to school ratings is http://www.greatschools.org and if you have an iPhone check out their app which is also a fantastic tool. I love their site, use it often and highly recommend it to my clients who are interested in finding the best schools for their children's education. GreatSchools profiles public, private and charter schools and has a great format for readers to leave comments. Besides their rating system the comment section is the best place to go to get real life feedback from children who attend the schools as well as their parents.

Overall ratings for various school systems vary but usually near the top of the heap in Palm Beach County are Boca Raton, Wellington and Jupiter. You might also want to check out the Florida Department of Education School accountability reports which are also a wealth of information and can be accessed with this link;

After doing your homework on-line I always recommend parents visit the school live and in person prior to making any purchasing decisions in that district and if you need assistance let me know as I would be happy to show you around. I hope this information is helpful but if you need anything additional please do not hesitate to give me a call.
