You need to get all the issues fixed by a licensed mold abatement professional with receipts. When you sell, DISCLOSE. Most reasonable people will understand that issues happen to a home and when the right repairs are applied, no future issues need to happen.
You may lose a buyer who reads your disclosure and panics, but you may lose them over some other issue anyway.

I would say, if you believe you can afford what they are asking, go for it. It's better than going back and forth. Once you have the house inspected, if there are concerns, that gives you room to negotiate the price. To Peggy, a person's ability to afford a house is the ability to pay the mortgage itself, closing cost are different. When I purchased my house, I was a first time homebuyer, qualified but unfortunately didn't have 20k to put down and cover cost. In today's economy, how many people have that laying around? And the time it would take for the average person to save that much for their "dream house", it more than likely would be on the market for that long. ... more

When you purchased this property, How old is the house??? and even thouhg it was an as is they should have notified you or provided you with a property disclosure.If you do not have that . the best thing is to get it fixed. My other question is when you bought it as is you have the right to get the property inspected. Did your contract has that in the inspection perrio box?? if you had an inspection period and did not perform and inspection then you will have to get that fixed..
