What exactly is poor credit I would ask. It depends on multiple factors and the source of the poor credit which can sometimes resolve itself given time. Best way to determine if you are eligible for traditional lending products is to talk to a mortgage professional. Non-traditional methods could include seller financing and also private lenders. Try USAA as well. They are veteran friendly. Also many lenders that provide FHA or conventional loans also provide VA financing alternatives. If you're working with a lender already, ask them to go in detail about your different financing options. There's also USDA with 100% financing if you will consider areas in Fayette County which are eligible for this type financing. ... more

you will need a 620 score though. if you are below that, go get a secured credit
cqrd for $300, charge 100 on it and pay 90 of it off. do that for 2 months and
you should get 20 points for that.
