I am a returning 2 country fighting, 11 years active duty VA Veteran presently under the Wounded Warrior Unit. My Lender say this property that I want of 44 ac -5 bed Modular Home that the VA in which I was going thru from approval Won't Accept It, that it needs to be a Stick Building not MH and that the house would have to be the more value of the approved lending not the land. Being told that I need to start my search all over again in which I feel guided that this is the HOME for ME. Are there any other options to do this with no money down (like with the VA) or something better w/ a little $ down. This surely isn't a closed door. Thank You Cherish Forrest ... more

Vicki,

Fortunately you can usually find a larger yard in Douglasville that can accomodate a fenced yard. Simply reply with your email address, price range, style of home etc. and we will send them your way!

We have worked in D'ville for 10+ years.

If you "had a foreclosure", you would not qualify as a "first time homebuyer" as you've already owned a home. You should speak with a lender- possibly best to speak to a local lending bank- that will guide you on how many years it will take and what you should b doing to repair your credit after a foreclosure. ... more
