I would suggest contacting your local police department. They should have this information for you. Realtors don't have access to this information.

Multiple red flags -

Is there mold? how are comparably damaged properties selling in terms of value and time? what's the margin?........

I am a landlord & have 1 home in Mableton, not too far from where you are looking to buy. It is an older 4/2 partially renovated (not fancy - more plain vanilla) and has rented in the mid to upper $900 range fairly easily. There is demand in the $850 to $950 range for a 4/2. As Ralph stated you may need to wait 5 years to gain some equity in property. Then property will need to be priced at the right price to move.

The home at 4485 Wesley Way has 1,260 square feet according to the tax records, Randy. The cost per square, if that's accurate, would be about $39.68 at a list price of $50K. If you would like for me to send you an electronic flyer of that or any other properties in the area, please forward me your email address and I will get them over ASAP. If you'd like to see some listings tomorrow or this weekend, please call and I will arrange the viewings. Good Luck!
