My address book is so full of lenders that I can't imagine referring business to anyone new. My advice is to go after new agents who have not yet established relationships with several lenders already.
Also, some food for thought. I have found with most lenders and attorneys that they're always eager to give out their card and get new business. But they often forget it's a two way street. Every lender has an address book just like we agents do. Think about leading by example. Give leads to agents and they'll begin to think of you when they have a new client. Personally, I think giving leads is the best way to get them.
