Hi,

I apologize if the image associated with your property page caused you any inconvenience and I am happy to help in any way I can. Please be advised the image you are seeing is provided to us from Google images of which we do not have the ability to edit or remove. My recommendation would be to contact Google to request they blur out your photo and home photo. Please feel free to use these steps:

How to get your property blurred:
1. On your Trulia Property Page, click 'View Map'.
2. Click 'Street View'.
3. Click 'Report a problem' found on the bottom right of the photo.
4. Fill out the form.
5. Click Submit.

Hopefully this information is helpful. For future reference, you can feel free to contact us about this type of inquiry through our contact form here:

It sounds like you are the Seller? If so, your HUD1 outlines the day you no longer had responsibility for the property. That is a legal document that you can use as proof at the county tax office. If the title company collected payment and was supposed to file that on your behalf then they should be responsible for any delays. Ask to speak with the owner or attorney and let them guide you through the situation. ... more

Hi Clarissa,
You should definitely contact the local police department on Philadelphia avenue next to the Takoma Park Library. As someone who has spent the better part of 20 plus years in that area with family who live there, I can tell you the neighborhood is pretty friendly. It has become safer and safer over the years. I have never had an issue personally. I would love to help you further with any housing questions should you have any.

I suggest checking out Montgomery County's education site. Their site gives all of the vital info you'll need in deciding on a school, i.e., test scores, student-teacher ratios, etc. http://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/departments/regulatoryaccountability/glance/
I live in Takoma Park and love it!

Its a pretty area. Nice parks and beautiful views.
The cons are too many speed bumps (they literally have the 5mph ones every 50 feet down entire roadways), the roads need paving, they have too many potholes that tear up my car, too many overgrown and unpruned trees (if the wind gets up over 30 mph, expect your power to go out for at least a few hours, at worst a few days), too many dead trees that fall during storms (more power outtages).
I live in Sligo Station. Some of the neighbors there are really nice and friendly but there are a few that are very mean and miserable. When I lived in the ghetto (for most of my life) I've never had anyone treat me so badly.
There aren't a whole lot of places to shop and eat. I usually have to drive out of the neighborhood to get what I need.
Its kind of like the old saying "Beauty is pain".

Hi Theresa, Days on market runs for the property address not the listing agent. Excellent staging, photos and presentation. Looks like you will get the job done. Best of luck!
