Keep in mind that rent to own can be risky and one could stand to lose a bit of money, therefore do inform yourself well, and consider consulting with an attorney who specializes in real estate beforehand. If you haven't done so yet, visit with any licensed loan officer, see if you can buy outright... ... more

There are people who offer 100k below list price. It depends on whta they are asking for it. I sold a house listed at $460k for $400k.
When you make an offer, it is a good idea to have your agent write a note saying how you came up with the price. When I am a buyer's agent , I write saying my clients are qualified and love the house but they want to offer x because if they went higher they may buy another property or I explain the comps that support the low price. You need a buyers agent who will present your offer. But if you offer too low sometimes the seller may not counter the offer if they are not motivated. In this market I am sure they will consider all offers. ... more

Shaun, I am aware of a lender's auction coming to the area. Please email me privately and I will send back the details that I have. This is an auction that you will need to pre register for to attend. The properties have specific open house dates so you are able to physically see them before deciding to bid on them. I focus my business on working with investors and they find these auctions to be worth while and a less risky and more productive than sheriff sales. I can be contacted via my website

Take care!

I always enjoy being around representatives of the RE industry who take the time to explain how lucky we all are that they grace us with their PROFESSIONAL opinion. Maureen thinks it's silly for a Professional like herself to just give away the knowlegde she has, but spamming is quite alright.

Thehob, I admire your patience and manners.

Maureen, You are not a Doctor! You come to Trulia beg for business and then try to take the high road. I sure you've got a rant ready about how your doing so much business blah blah blah....your advice is so blah've got so much experience, blah blah...Non-pros are blah blah..I'm highly trained blah blah
You are a spammer with no respect for the forum or the guidelines nothing more, nothing less.
You are no different in my opinion than the guy holding a "will work for food sign" except he's honest about why he's spamming.
