Port Chester has the 8th best real estate market in Westchester county according to Trulia, and on average, most homes sell within 6-8 months. However, the time frame can vary widely depending on the specifics of the property. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions.

Looking for an apartment can be a tough job if you can't find a reasonable price range to look at. It is pretty easy in a college town because there are tons of apartments to look at. I feel like you can get the best deals living where there is a high demand for apartments because there usually is a good price range. The second thing I would look at is how nice the apartment is.

Wed Jan 29, 2014
Brent Kluge answered:
It completely depends on the ARV (As Repaired Value). That is to say, what will the value of your home be AFTER the renovation is completed. You can ballpark the cost by adding your mortgage payoff and your expected renovation and then divide by your ARV.

FHA 203k allows you to go to 110% Loan-to-Value, otherwise 10% ABOVE the final appraised value.

You can find great information about this and many other renovation topics at my website: just google 203k world

ALL the best!

I'm sorry to hear whoever you spoke with at Chase completely misinformed you. I've helped clients use this great loan program for basic repairs to full blown renovations and everything in between. There are also conventional programs which could help eliminate mortgage insurance to make your renovation costs most affordable. This is one of my specialties and I'd be more than happy to tell you all about the available programs so we can best determine which makes most financial sense. Please contact me at your earliest convenience so I can gain a clearer snapshot of your scenario and the work you're looking to complete.

I hhave been doing short sales for quite awhile and very successfully. Each case takes on its own life depending on the circumstances and the hardships. Also, a skilled negotiator is required in dealing with the bank once the short sale package is prepared. To answer your questions, yes it is possible not to have a deficiency note and be free of any obligation.

Hi Julio, The Summit is a lovely cooperative complex. The maintenance is $823 but after the STAR exemption is applied it can be reduced to around $760 per month.

The STAR program needs to be applied for, but if you live in the property you are eligible. I will be happy to explain how this program works and answer any other questions you may have.

I live and work in Harrison and I am very familiar with all the Sound Shore area has to offer. If I can be of service to you, let me know.

Enjoy this beautiful day!

Bill Eckler, Real Estate Pro in Venice, FL
Thu May 21, 2009
Bill Eckler answered:

Buyers are more concerned with the schools, taxes, number of bedrooms, age of the home etc. and generally pay very little attention to the color unless it is overwhelmingly bad.

Our recommendation is to do what many people do when considering painting their homes. Drive around and look for similar homes, paying close attention to their colors. There's no point in reinventing the wheel for something so simple as the color of a home. Most homeowners would be happy to share the brand and color of their paint.

Good luck

Hello Robert...I know the building you are asking about. It is a beautiful building and there is nothing wrong with the construction. Each complex is designed to suit the needs of a particular purchaser. Personally i see this building suited for purchasers who like the feel of the city in the suburbs. Hi style living quarters with the freedom to run anywhere anytime without worry. I think it is the best kept secret in town.
