In Colorado, you can always put in a back up offer but the market has been so hot that the original (first) offer usually closes. But of course there is always that slim chance the first deal falls apart and you can get the home of your dreams. ... more

Oh boy --- scams are prevalent online because of the ease for scammers to "steal" property info. A good rule of thumb is to work with an agent, never ever send money ahead of seeing a place or signing a lease, and if it sounds too good to be true, realize that it is very ikely just that. ... more

You will need to contact Trulia directly. They don't look at these question posts at all. But quite honestly, even the real estate agency listings are all messed up and inaccurate. There are many properties showing that haven't been for sale for literally YEARS! Trulia, Zillow,, etc. are only 3rd party aggregators, and they are not required to keep property listings either current or accurate!!! I feel your pain. ... more

May have something to do with the way the info is feeding to Trulia - I would also speak to your tech person to find out how info syndicates in to Trulia - may find a clue there.

Mark R Morse answered:
The best way to do it is to pick a central city that you are interested in and then do a mile radius, however far out you would like to go from that town. While very tedious, you can also pick the towns if you know a specific area or towns that you would like to avoid.

The best way is to find a Realtor to help you with your search so that we can use your criteria and our knowledge of regions, towns and specific properties that we have already seen. That way, you don't waste unneeded time searching and looking on your own. Many properties that are listed on here will require credit check and such as well so the sooner you can get that done by a Realtor, the stronger your position will be when trying to find a rental. If I can help in any way, let me know.
