I have personally used the Ridgefield Apartments. They are clean, responsive to service requests and willing to accommodate pets. There can sometimes be a waiting list for the apartment you want though, so I would call in advance to see what their availability is. The Ridgefield Apartments are located on Danbury Road and are close to many amenities.

Hello April van der Noll,

This seems like it could be a very lucrative business for you! A lot of homeowners DO need help organizing their homes in order to optimize the sale potential!

If you'd like to start marketing and networking your business, a good way to go would be to stop by the local real estate offices in your area that are doing a lot of business. Call your local Keller Williams office's team leader. get your material and pitch together, and ask if you can host a team meeting with coffee and donuts.

you can also look up any staging copmpanies that may be active in your area.

I hope this helps!

All the best,
Kieran Jackson

The real answer is, why would you want to? Why not continue to cast a larger net and keep your accounts both active. I'm sure that each of you have your own network and sphere.....so why would you want to have only one single account? Just my two cents....

Best of luck to you!

Hi. Just to clarify. My answer referred to Fairfield Homes. The data I use is from the Greater Fairfield County MLS. Since I was referring to an average, I should point out that individual homes may vary. And since location is such an important part of the value, Ridgefield may have different trends. Again it is best to check with a Realtor in your local area. All the best, Mike

PS anyone can see trends by town for the last few years in units sold and prices at Raveis.com

Just one more thought: It can't hurt to call your lender and ask if they will accept a lower pay off at this time. However, be sure to have it in writing that this will not affect your credit, and that the loan will be marked as Paid in Full.

Even if they do agree, I still strongly recommend you speak with your accountant or financial planner first.

I'm not sure I understand the question. It sounds like the rate is 6.125 unless someone does a buy down, so that would be the rate in 90 days. However, with the current market conditions, I wouldn't count on anything staying the same for 90 days. Most lenders won't rate lock for more than 30 days, possibly 45 with a fee.
Look close at that buy down. Typically 1 point (1% of the loan) equals .25% rate buy down. To be getting that much of reduction, I would expect that this is some type of a variable or adjustable loan. Be VERY careful about signing anything that is adjustable unless you are 100% sure you understand the terms and have had your lawyer review it. Variable notes are how so many people got into trouble recently. When the note resets in 2 years, your payment could come close to doubling.
