From what I understand, the owner made a mistake in purchasing it because it is too much space and they only live in a few of the rooms. As far as I know there is nothing wrong with the home. If there is any further info I can help you with, please don't hesitate to call me. Enjoy the day!

Jayne Lagano answered:
Jill - the home on 10 Braeloch was a traditional Colonial sited on 1.32 acres with an inground pool and cabana, extensive professional landscaping, updated throughout including the kitchen with tumbled marble and granite. It also had a 3 car garage and a completely finished lower level that added over 1300 sq feet of "living" space. It originally came on the market at $859,900 and sold after 119 days in March of this year for $743,500. It is currently on the market for $785,00 after its orginal asking price of $810,000 in September.

The home at 6 Braeloch was a Contemporary (which does not have such a broadscope appeal as a traditonal Colonial). It was on .92 acres and was smaller in size than 10 Braeloch (9 rooms vs 11 rooms). There were no updates to kitchens and baths, no pool, a 2-car garage and the lower level was not finished.
It originally came on the market for $719,900 and sold after 387 days for $570,000.

Even though the homes were right next door to each other, there were vast differences.

Hope that helps!
