I'm not sure why a person in Florida is asking questions on a Maine forum and being answered from someone in NY.
Here in Maine, it is legal to write a lease that spells out that in the event of a sale, the tenant can be asked to leave with a 60 day notice. Otherwise, the tenant is protected from kick out. Bank foreclosures must allow 90 days notification.
So the answer to your question is, what does your lease say?
