Try contacting Trulia's customer service department, it is doubtful anyone from Trulia will see and act on your post here.

That will depend A LOT on the property, and why the sellers motivation is. It could be negotiated down significantly.

Jen,
To be of greater help to you, a link to the errant information should be provided.
We can then make a better judgement regarding the source of the data.

Meanwhile, make sure you go to Google maps and blur your homes images. Google Maps is the source of the images most scammers and TRULIA use for deceptive marketing purposes. ... more

Bruce Lynn answered:
There can be a number of reasons.
1. The listing is flagged NO to allow internet in the MLS.
2. MLS is not linked to Trulia.
3. The link is there it just missed the feed.
4. Your agent hasn't entered it manually into Trulia.

Ask your agent to check for you.

Hi Charlotte,

Since there has been some recent activity on this thread, I thought I would let you know that Trulia's new keyword search allows you to limit your search results to listings that contain certain words or phrases in the listing descriptions.

The link below will show you homes in Dallas that contain the word 'pool' in their descriptions.

Hi there Sherelia,

Yes, Trulia lists apartments and houses for lease/rent.

Here are some Dallas apartments for rent: http://www.trulia.com/for_rent/Dallas,TX/x_map/
Here are some Dallas houses for rent: http://www.trulia.com/for_rent/Dallas,TX/SINGLE-FAMILY_HOME_type/x_map/

To get to either of these listings independently, just click "Rent" at the top of this screen.

Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with,

Hi Duane,

I'm afraid there is now way at present to eliminate specific homes from your search results, however we'd definitely like to correct any listing information on our site that is misleading or inaccurate. I've searched for listings from Uptown Locators, but haven't been able to find them in our Dallas TX in rentals or sales however.

Is there any way you can let us know your search critieria when you encountered these listings, or provide us with a link to some of these results? If so, we would appreciate it! You can post that information here in an answer, or send it to our Customer Service team via the link below.

Thank you!

Emily

Hi William,

I'm sorry that we didn't find and answer your question sooner. It appears as though the listing in question has been removed from our site. You can resubmit it to us via the link below, however please keep in mind that we don't accept daily rental amounts and if you do resubmit you'll need to put in a monthly rental rate.

Please let us know if you need any additional assistance.

Best Wishes,

Emily

Charlie Wheeler answered:
Hi Ryan,

If your listings are being fed to Trulia (by your MLS or broker) and you make a change to the photos and/or description at the feed source, those changes should be reflected on Trulia in 24-48 hours. The caveat is that any manual changes you make to your listings on Trulia will override the feed data. I like to recommend using the feed data wherever possible instead of manual edits because then you can be sure that the information is identical in all locations and if you do make changes in the future, they will automatically update on Trulia.

Charlie Wheeler

Hi Polly. Simply put, it's worth it. Although I am not signed up now, I will be again soon. Right now I have other projects I'm working on and have enough leads from other sources.

The ROI on Trulia is higher than any other real estate website for ME. I am saying this to you with 100% conviction. Trulia is not perfect as far as searches are concerned. But you cannot and will not get a better group of experienced, thoughtful, kindhearted and ethical agents on any other site. Period.

Think about it. If you paid your $400 for one year's subscription and got just one sale from this site, wouldn't that be worth your investment? YES. Odds are highly in your favor that this will happen. The traffic count and exposure of Trulia are incredible. It's listed on Alexa as #296 in the USA:

http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/trulia.com#

Hope this helps you with your decision.

GOOD LUCK!
