Not at all. The Aquarium of the Pacific has its own multi structure parking lot. If full, the convention center and The Pike are right across the street and Rainbow Harbor is right next door, all of which have plenty of available parking. Or if you want to go completely stress free, just valet your car. ... more

If you are like me and don't like going to malls, anything you would normally find in a mall can also be found in the assorted shops of Belmont Shore on 2nd street. Downtown Long Beach has a great mix of vintage shops, galleries and interesting novelty shops along with a Z Gallery (a personal favorite of mine) Walmart and a new outdoor mall. The Marina Pacific Shopping Center and The Marketplace on PCH and 2nd Street have wonderful boutiques, restaurants, movie theaters. We are a short drive to South Coast Plaza, one of the finest shopping centers in Southern California. Or a short drive inland to discount outlet stores. Everything you need is right here. ... more
