Irving by and large is pretty safe. We have lived in the Irving are near 183 and Storey Rd. for three years and have had no problems. Most of the neighborhoods are quiet and don't have a lot of late-night activity. Our nieghborhood has a lot of children, and they are out all the time, so the parents must think it's safe. ... more

Here is the reply from a teacher at Irving High...I think some students are considered "Homebound" if they have a medical condition that keeps them from being at school on a daily basis.

We also have some specific online classes that students can take while they are enrolled at IHS (or during the summer)...like Economics, Speech, World Geography, etc.

But I don't think a student can just choose to be a strictly online student, just because they want to be.

You probably need to check directly with the school system for their enrollment policies.

75063 will have some....but this zip code also includes Coppell Schools.
76039 will have some...but also covers Irving schools.
Those will be the main ones for living in Irving.
Not sure what zip code covers Hackberry, but I think that area also has some homes that go to CFB school district.
We can search by high school if you are specifically targeting that school.
There are probably a couple of different ways we should set up your search.
What price range do you want to be in and perhaps I can provide more specific guidence to you.

You need to direct this question to the School District.
You can go to http://www.Schoolmatters.com to find information about the schools in that area, then contact them. As agents they do give us a lot of information an we gather a lot about the schools in our area but this is a question that my have a different answer this year from last year.
