They were uploaded to Hotpads.com. This info and photos is supposed to transfer to Trulia and Zillow--right?? Photos are not here. This is not good for a rental posting.

KRISTA BELL answered:
Hi there, please check your email. I did a search on the MLS (sometimes there are rentals here not found on Trulia or Craigslist), and the rental in the link below came up. The hyperlink will take you directly to the MLS property profile for the rental.

I deal in sales, not rentals, but sometimes as a complementary service for my clients, I can set them up on a custom MLS search. If you would be interested in my doing so for you, just send me your name and any additional search criteria you may have - I'll get it set up for you. Hope this helps, Krista Bell, REALTOR, BellAssist@yahoo.com

When you click on the property, there is a pull down menu marked "MORE"... click on that and it will give you the option to flag the property as suspected fraud. Trulia will investigate and remove the listing if they determine that you're right. ... more

Kari Shea answered:
Hi Sally,

We have found that Craigslist is your best option for a rental. 85% to 95% of all rentals leased in San Diego County are found using Craigslist. It is used to advertise rentals by property owners, property management companies and agents alike. The rental listings are far more up to date than what you will find anywhere else. Check often and call/e-mail right away as many rentals move quickly. The best way to sort is by entering the zip code in the Search Box.

Beware of rental scam listings and ads that "look too good to be true”. Make sure you talk to the person managing the property and meet them to see it. Scams usually involve people asking for a deposit in order to see the property. The "owner" usually states they live out of state or out of the country. Other scams involve people stealing pictures from homes for sale and then posting it as a rental with a low rental rate.

Best of luck to you,

Hi again Melinda,

You will most likely need to start looking the first week of January in order to find a place in February. Unfortunately, landlords want occupancy as soon as possible.

Also, most real estate agents will show your properties where they can receive a commission. Most rentals do not offer one, so you are best to look on your own.

Best of luck,

This Trulia listing for your home seems to be legitimate as it has your contact info and a reasonable price. You can go to the below link and then choose Claim This Listing link which will allow you to modify or delete it from Trulia:

Hi Sharron,
I have a few homes in Vista with the possibly for lease option to buy. If you are 55+ and have a minimum of $15,000. You are a good candidate. The more money you have to put down to more options available. If you are under 55 with children this is more challenging, but it can be done. Feel free to email me or text me for more information. mary@abchomes.us
