Yes, there are homes like this. You have to be quick though. I have helped seven buyers find and purchase homes in the past four months. Ten transactions in five months. Things are going quickly. Let me know if you are still searching.

The Pathways for People Day Program is located in a 3,000 square foot facility in Cary, NC that houses a music room, computer lab, art room, yoga/dance space, a central meeting space, and a relaxation room. The day program is intended for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You can read more about the program on this site: http://www.pathwaysforpeople.org/dayprogram

Yeah, I know this question is old, but it seems no one has answered.

Indian Lake Estates is a quiet little community. They seem to be quite active. There is a nice like for canoeing and they have a regular picnic at the lake. Right now pricing is great. Anyone that wants to live in the mountains or have a nice retreat, this is very affordable.

Let me know what I can do to help you see this area.

If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything! If the principles of your faith regulate how you act, you can't really separate the source of your integrity, from the business you conduct. You don't have to flaunt it, but when it's appropriate (for me, that is, in the presence of another Christian), I do, and do so proudly! Some say, "That's discriminatory", I call it "a niche". Some say "That's wrong", and again I say "If loving Jesus is wrong, I don't want to be right"...LOL!!!! ... more

Just to clarify, I make much more than $2,700 a month. I want to limit my expenses to that net amount. The idea is to save the remainder for a significant down payment later on as we get more acquainted with the city and decide if we want to set roots there.
So, again, the question is: would $2,700 be a reasonable amount to live on in a decent area? that would include: rent, utilities, groceries, etc.
By the way, I have no debt of any kind. Please, never mind how much how I can afford. I am interested in renting.

Lastly, we eat out once a week.

Thank you

Good afternoon, Nick.
You may want to read the Trulia Real Estate Blog http://www.trulia.com/blog/dfisher/2013/03/what_are_the_best_schools_in_charlotte There are a lot of great schools in our area. If you focus on the east side of Lake Norman, South Charlotte, Union County and north York County, you will get a great overview of the area. If before you come down, you get a list of homes in your target price range, you can do a tour to these homes and see the areas along the way. If you have a full time agent with a Masters degree in Planning with Finance and over two decades of experience, working for you, you will likely do better in negotiations. I'd be pleased to provide that service - and the above free list.. Good afternoon, NancyCam:
There are many options for peace, space, amenities, safety, but some youth in the Greater Charlotte area. What you ultimately choose would depend on your lifestyle and other preferences eg. do you prefer lake living, an eclectic arts area or an small uptown luxury environment. Also, amount of maintenance desired, townhome/condo vs single family detached, do you drive or take public transportation will be important. If you are financing, your target monthly expense will probably be a deciding factor. If you have a full time agent with a Masters degree in Planning with Finance and over two decades of experience, working for you, you will likely do better in negotiations.
