There are some options in both the Bryan and College Station areas for USDA including new builder homes where the builder pays a large portion of the buyer's closing cost. It of course depends on what you are looking for and price range.

You should really be working with a leasing agent. If you are looking for homes on Trulia or Zillow to rent they will all most likely be gone by the time you find anything out. When you work with an agent you will get information as it happens. When I list a new home or lease in the MLS it does not show up here or on Zillow for at least a day or two. In most areas around Austin leases go fast so find somebody to work with so you can see properties as they hit the market.
Best of luck to you.
