Jo Ellen Munsee answered:
Hi Stacy,
The only home currently showing for sale on Sonoma Way in the MLS is your home. The MLS listing I looked at seemed to have all the basic home information. I will send you a copy of the MLS sheet as it appears in the MLS for other agents to see. The only other home that has been sold on Sonoma Way and listed in MLS during the last 12months was one of the affordable homes. It closed in May 2013 and sold for $95,000. The listing had very limited information in the MLS. ... more

Hi Peggy;
I see from the other answers that you probably already have all of the questions answered. I have a question for you: Are you relocating to this area? Have you been here for a visit? The reason I ask is because we relocated here from California years ago and am quite familiar with the Redondo Beach area. If you haven't actually visited the Preserve I can describe it to you in terms you might be able to visualize by comparing to areas around where you live.

The Preserve is a lovely golf course community. There is also a clubhouse and a pool. Consequently there is a good social group which helps new residents in meeting their neighbors and aclimating to a new area. Depending upon your work location it can be convenient or a bit far away.

If you have not chosen a Buyer's agent; I would be happy to discuss the options for someone relocating to the Triangle. You will need to choose a Buyer's agent who knows the area well and who can also assist you in the myriad considerations of moving cross country. Feel free to contact me.

Warm Regards,
Jessica Bryan

Those rentals were built for student housing and are available on a per rooom basis, so you could potentially (and likely) have 2 students as roommates. Properties near campus and downtown will generally rent for $500-800+ per month, per bedroom, depending on the quality of the property. There are other properties more suitable for professionals and I can provide information on MLS listed rentals or you can also reference Craigslist for other options. Mark 919-960-6332 ... more

My NC Homes Team answered:
This listing is a public record and nothing more. It''s not currently for sale and has not been listed for sale within the past 10 years in the local MLS.

While sites such as Trulia and Zillow contain a lot of good info as well as giving folks like you the opportunity to interact with Realtors and other professionals, they actual property data is occasionally incorrect, outdated or simply not clear, which is why it pays to work with someone local.

I don't know what your ideally looking for whether is neighborhood centric, school district centric or some other parameter all together. If I could be of any assistance I'd be happy to speak with you, feel free to contact me directly through my profile here on Trulia.

I can't you details but I know that swimming activities are very much part of Chapel Hill & Carrboro. The Chapel Hill park with the great indoor pool that is open 363 days a year! Try the Chapel Hill website for more information. There are two Y's with pools and several condo communities with pools like the one where I live, The Oaks. Plus, of course, the CH Golf Club with a sophisticated pool set up along with other outdoor activities. Best wishes, Charles ... more
