Good Morning
This is a very good question and the answer has three parts. First, HOA's, are set up per lot as a rule so that each plated lot becomes part of the HOA and pays dues and has a lien against it. Second, you need to review your closing paperwork this should have been disclosed to you and review you HOA covenants. Third, consider contacting a real estate attorney to review your options, a realtor can not give legal advice. I am sorry that you are in this situation and hope it works out for you.
