Graziella Caruso answered:
My first thought would be to leave the pool. There are many people who would love to have a pool and then their are buyers that do not want a pool. Its very hard to please every buyer but I do feel there maybe more buyers that would enjoy the pool. Filling the pool is an costly expense. I think it would be more cost effective to just get a new liner and make some repairs. I would love to discuss this more with you. If you would like, call me and I would be happy to answer any of your other questions.

Have a great day!

I would start with the zoning officer to see if this size addition to the footprint is allowable. You need to check coverage area, setbacks, are any NJDEP issues. If you are by a category "1" stream all bets are off that you could build anything at all without an L.O.I.. Find out this info before you spend any money or time on this project. ... more

If it's under contract, the selling price is not revealed until the deal is consummated. The it can be viewed by realtors, promptly, and by the public probably a month later when it is recorded at the county seat.

Thomas McCormack answered:
Mike,
As you've learned Trulia and many other online sites feature listings that are sold, under contract or otherwise unavailable. While they are useful as tools, your best bet is to work with a local realtor that you trust who has a good sense of the local market. Your agent can not only save you time from researching properties that are no longer available but they can also help you evaluate properties within the context of recent sales, current inventory and a property's market history.

I've worked with many customers relocating from Hoboken and Jersey City and would be happy to help if you are interested in beginning your search with professional help.

Thank you.
