Definately too good to be true! Scammers have found ways to take over listings and repost them on sites like craigslist and such.. having people sending them money to rent.. when in fact they ate not really avaialble.

Be careful out there. If it looks and smells bad.. it probably is!

Valentina Gabela answered:
Just to clarify. This house was on and off the market for a while. The current owners purchased in 2010 for $810,000.
2 Years later 6/22/12 they put it on the market for $1,050,000. They took it off the market on 12/12/12/

On 12/24/12 the house went back on the market for $929,000 then lowered to $899,000 a few weeks later.

On 2/21/13 they took it off the market. The listing did not expire which would automatically take it off the market . The status of unconditional withdrawal means that the listing contract did not expire when the owners told the Realtors to take it off the market. This is not uncommon and it usually happens when either the owners have changed their mind or when the listing is about to expire.

Where does that leave you?
You can get in contact with the seller to see if they are still interested in selling. Once you contact the owners they will let you know the reason for the ucw. It could be that they want to rethink their choices or could mean they changed their mind.

I can help you with this inquiry if you like. Once we find out why it was withdrawn you can see if making an offer is appropriate.

The previous price of 540,000 was a computed price based on the amount of transfer tax paid. If this was a forclosure the bank may have paid based on the assessed value. This would explain the extreme difference of prices in just a few months. ... more

Looks like this is an owner posted rental. You are going to have to ask them direct as developments BOTH have their own policies. To do so, go to the very bottom of the page and see "Inqiuire about this property."

If you feel you prefer the assistance of a Realtor to protect your interests, I'd be happy to assist. Please know that I do not follow posts (tooooo many emails), so you will need to contact me direct @

Dear Ann,

That home is still listed in the MLS as under contract. The projected closing date was 3/20/2010, so it is possible that our system has not been updated again. I will check again for you tomorrow. Are you looking to sell your home? If you like, I can give you a market analysis of your home, and let you know what it would sell for. If you or anyone you know has any other real estate questions, feel free to call or email me!
