Orlando is inland. It's not near the ocean or the gulf. You'll need to drive an hour to get to the beach.

Starwood is a much more desirable community than Stonebriar.. Starwood for one is much newer, larger homes, and a and a more well kept up grounds community. It has the best school district being Collin County, versus Stonebriar, being zoned for Lewisville school district. Starwood even has its own Excellent Montisorry School on the premiss for Elementaey age students.
Starwood has a strict homeowners association, so you are safer buying a home and knowing your neighbors home will be kept up.The Home Owners Dues have been lower in Starwood than in Stonebriar. There are also water falls, shaded trails, with winding creeks in Starwood Also, in Starwood,.there is a brand new fitness center and a beautiful Community Pool.

Hello Cassandra, why are you only looking for individual owners? Do you have issues that you are concerned about? You did not mention what maximum rent or minimum number of bedrooms and if you are looking for a condo, townhome or single family residence?

If you figure out what cities/zip codes you are considering, minimum number of bedrooms and the maximum payment/price you are looking to achieve and you can be emailed listings to fit your search criteria.

The rentals in Tustin start from $1,325 a month for a studio apt and up. The purchase in Tustin start from 264k for 1bd 1ba condo, from 289k for 2bd 2ba condo and the single family homes start from 599k for 3bd 2ba home.

You may qualify to buy with minimal out of pocket expenses with down payment and closing cost assistance programs.

Hi Dusty,

I used to live in California and am currently living in Allen. I've been here for about 10 years now. Both cities that you mentioned are wonderful to live and good for family with children. I would say both cities pretty much have the same pace and nice neighbors.

Feel free to connect with me if you have any questions. I think there's no better way but to connect with someone who has lived in both areas to assist you. My references are available upon request or you can check part of my client's endorsement at LinkedIn.

Mark McNitt answered:
Which airport?

Bush Intercontinental is on the north side of Houston. Areas to the east of this airport include Kingwood, Fall Creek, Summerwood, Eagle Springs and other communities in the Humble school district. Don't forget about the new construction along with west side of Lake Houston. North of the Bush airport includes one of the most popular communities in the US, The Woodlands along with other communities such as Benders Landing and various areas in Spring.
Hobby Airport is on the south side of Houston and popular areas near Hobby include Friendswood, Pearland and Clear Lake which is along Galveston Bay.
Find an experienced Realtor that is familiar with the area your interested in and is also experienced with helping those relocating to Houston. Good luck.
