Having a resource to help with HOA information and documents makes life easier for real estate agents. Recently, when selling a home in Ohio, Association Online provided me with all the HOA details for the listing, and then provided all the documents - by-laws, financial statements, covenants, etc. They made sure the package was complete, making my work easier. Their web site is well organized and very easy to use - . Call their team of experts – they are great to work with (970-226-1324). ... more

Good Afternoon,

Homes around High Ridge could be in Highlands, Highlands north or Franklin Hills subdivisions. As I'm sure you are aware there are a variety of home sizes and other variables to contend with. In order to give you a realistic answer we would need to narrow your criteria. Much like an appraiser does. market trends for 1800 sq ft homes on the west side of Redd Rd will be different than 2500 sq ft homes on WindRidge.

Shoot me an email direct at rick at ricksnow dot com and I'll be happy to help you out.

You would contact your City's or County's assessor's office. Be prepared for a possible increase in your home's taxes though!! Also, the building inspector may pay you a visit to try and figure out how your home "grew." A good appraiser will measure your home properly and then try to reconcile any differences between the property card and his/her measurements, and explain them in the appriasal report. ... more

Price per square foot varies greatly in any area. Variances are attributed to condition, ammenities, location, size, age, new or resale or short sale or foreclosure or auction. Whew and that is only part of the valuation equation. So today in 79938 there is as low as $38 to a high of $140. Just looking, what are you looking for. We have it all...

Wishes that just looking is fun, and if it is not call me

Hello Mary, In the last 6 months there have been 39 homes sold from 836 sq.ft. for $40,000 to 2802 sq. ft. for $135,000. These are in the Five Points area which is an older area of town known as the Central District of El Paso.

Hi warrior44iraq, There are many foreclosures in the El Paso Market and in order for sellers to sell their property they have had to reduce their prices because they are competing with the foreclosures. There are many nice homes that are foreclosed some need a few repairs some not. Right now it is a buyers' market and that's why the reduced foreclosures are very attractive. Visit my website to see availability of foreclosures and just general homes in El Paso. Zip Code 79936 and 79938 is a good start, considered the eastside of town.

By-the-way 3661 Tierra Berlin is under contract as of 11/24/09 for $111 per square foot.

I'd start with asking truila how they computed such a deviation from what you stated "most builders are asking for". Many builders use a demand function equation that factors in many independent variables to determine what homes to build and how much to charge. Some of these variables include cost/quality of materials, features in the home, goverment regulations, city codes, consumer expectations, economic variables, etc.. From that equations they know and can forecast to a degree of certainty what will happen if they change prices. Of course, there are some builders that don't use calculus or economics to determine prices but they generally don't stay in business for long. ... more

Michael, that depends on many factors. The market in El Paso continues to be better than other parts of the country, but it has slowed from last years boom. We continue to sell homes everyday in all parts of town. average time on market has slowed from 60 days last Oct to 91 days this Oct. Market time is affected by the price range of the home as well. My personal opinion is that even though it is slower we are still in good shape. If your home is priced correctly it will sell. It may take a little longer but homesare still holding their value. Price reductions are due to unrealistic expectations to begin with. Pricing is key. Rick Snow, Broker, One Realty El Paso ... more

Hi Anne,

I posted a question, categorized as "Using Trulia" about their real estate guides, and did mention Charlottesville and Palmyra. We'll see how Trulia responds. My best guess is that it is simply a matter of time for Trulia to gather and input the data from all over the country. Undoubtedly, yes there are sales in your area.

I am licensed in NJ and FL. I do,however, have a report in pdf format that has some info about Palmyra. I cannot stress enough, that you should not rely upon it for decision making. The info that I have as would Trulia info, only serves as a form of initial info gathering. Nothing takes that place of a real estate professional who is hands-on in the local area, has up-to-the-minute data, experience, etc.

With that in mind, I would be happy to send you the pdf that I have, if you email me. I have no way to upload a pdf file here.

I used to visit the Charlottesville area when I had a relative who lived there. It is such a beautiful area. I miss visitng there.
