This is still going on nine months later...., it is a system whereby the brokers, home repair warehouses, decorators, stagers etc all are in an industry to support one another at the seller's expense. We are not wrong when we surmise that the seller is footing the bill for all of this and buyer gets all the benefits. Ask yourself why there is a shortage of homes for sale.... answer sellers are saying we are 50% of the sales negotiation. Just try to say that the what the seller wants and the seller needs isn't important and see how many homes you have up for sale. Foreclosures, short sales ... and broker's price fixing for easy sale all working against the seller because they make more money if they put less effort and time into a sale sell more homes quicker at a little less commission on each sale.... However, sellers can easily sell without a broker if they want to give away their home. If you want to sell a premium home in good condition for a fair market price instead of a foreclosure price watch out. Go with ForSaleByOwner.com ... more

I'm tired of people trying to bash this we buy homes people. I can't sell my house as is because my village won't let me list it with a real estate agent. It's hogwash that you don't have to fix your house up when using an agent. I dare someone to get my house sold without the village hitting me with a fine or lien because I want to list my house as is. Some real estate people are the nicest and others are shady characters like knowing a water issue but lying about it. If your house needs serious repairs sell to we buy homes people ... more

Ooh boy, autistic AND adopted? Just one of those can kill somebody.
Bet the bullies outnumbered the supporters!

Well, I am guessing you couldn't get a job because of your social struggles and maybe identity struggles from being adopted, gave up, were a caregiver for years, maybe decades, your adoptive mother didn't teach you anything to prepare you for life because she felt sorry for you, you're now all alone, and now you need help selling. I'm sorry I don't live close by because I have dealt with a little bit of that myself.

Good luck finding a sincere, compassionate person to help you sell your house. If I were you, I'd do the FSBO and just be yourself; the right buyer will come along.

People who are 'creeped out' by you are not worth dealing with. If they are interested, they will try to trick you and deceive you. Bet you've already dealt with those types again and again, haven't you?. All you are responsible for is your intention; perception is their responsibility. I tell you, people LOOOOVE to brand those as socially awkward as conceited or retarded; that wrongful perception makes them feel soo gewd about themselves, you see. Us vs. them thinking.

Sell it yourself, be yourself, you sound like a thoughtful person to me who never had the right treatment or opportunities! Stay strong and come to Boston! Boston ranks highly for autism services! But first. GET.OUT.OF.THE.SOUTH. You'll feel worlds better. Best of luck to you!

Hi, Commission rates are negotiable and can vary. The key to negotiating the best rate is to compare and interview several agents in your local area. We started UpNest (http://www.upnest.com) to help you compare top agents that compete to earn your business. Since agents compete for you, they offer their very best rates and services. You'll also get to ""comparison shop"" like you do for all the other things you usually pay for. It's free and there's no risk to try us out, Good luck! http://www.upnest.com

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out regarding your request to remove your home from Trulia. We display property information on Trulia to provide consumers with transparent real estate information. We receive this information from public records gathered by a third-party data collector from your county. Our mission is to empower consumers with information and tools to make smart decisions about homes, real estate and mortgages. For this reason, we do not remove public record property information from Trulia. I have removed the photos of your property instead.

Thank you for using Trulia!

Hello, The only way to get your FSBO home listed on Trulia is to have it listed on the MLS. Only agents have access, but you could also pay for what's called a flat fee listing service if you want to sell by owner (generally not a good idea). We created UpNest (http://www.upnest.com) to help home sellers get the best value possible. All you have to do is submit a few details about your home, and we'll invite several top local agents to submit proposals to you. Since agents are competing to earn your listing, they bring out their best commission rates and value added services, saving you a lot of money. There's no risk to try us at all, and it's completely free for you. http://www.upnest.com Good luck! ... more
