That is a difficult question to answer since our MLS stats are based on current listing office. For instance if my competitor has a listing for 6 months and it does not sell, the seller decides to make a change to a better agent (guess who). So they list it with me and it sells a month later. The market time goes down as 30 days not 210 days. Another case is a residential development that was listed before construction was begun. Houses or condos are continuelly built and sold but each time a new one is built, it uses the orginal listing date as the start time. So there could be a house with a 5 year market time that was really only 3 months.
Based on my 25 years expierence and 2 terms as MLS President though, I would say the average market time in Northern Door County is over a year (typically people do not have to buy nor sell second homes). In Sturgeon Bay closer to 6 months. Hope that helps.
