Ants, spiders, maybe snakes. Not sure about scorpions. I lived in Chico, 90 miles north on former orchard land, for 30 years. We always had ants, especially when it rains. Have pest control service! It's the best way. also get house inspection and a pest inspection and go over all with the inspector at the property. Find good inspectors. They are not all good! As we have learned in the Fort Worth, TX area. In Texas, it's 'buyer beware' since the codes are different and really more lax. Scorpions are usually in a drier climate, I believe. In the Natomas area, there are a lot of new homes, especially near the Sac airport. Be careful where you buy and also check the crime reports. Richmond has crime, but so does Natomas, Chico, on and on now. Not like it used to be. Even in the Dallas-Ft Worth area, there is more crime than 20 years ago. Good luck. FIND GOOD INSPECTORS AND LISTEN TO WHAT THEY ARE TELLING YOU. You do not have to buy a property if you have serious doubts. There may be things not on the disclosure that the inspector will find. You will only be out their fee, but better that than buy property/home you hate and is a money pit!
