Clarkston is closer to expressways than Oxford. Both cities have excellent K-12 schools. They are horse country and village dwellings. The ambiance of both cities are welcoming. The main streets in both towns are off of busy thoroughfares. M 24 that runs through Oxford, though has heavier trucks. ... more

My wife is an appraiser in Clarkston MI, Every bank is different and the underwriter is also different with every bank. This sounds like it was the banks choice not to give you the loan based upon no current sales in the complex. I would call a different loan company. I have a mortgage rep that I have been using for over 4 years and he has never let me down. If they buyer is approved and the appraisal is at value I have never had the deal fall apart. Let me know if you want his name and number. ... more

It depends on many issues and state law. Bonus can be offered to buyer and agent secure purchase a of home within a certain time period. Check with your listing agent regards statues of state legal concerns.

Builders, banks, fsbo, sellers I have seen in Texas offer bonus.

Good luck on sale of your property. If you do a FSBO need follow state law sale any property.

The bank will look at your overall financial situation and if you appear strong enough, they will most likely be willing to talk to you about the second home. Bear in mind though, you have to be very financially strong to do this. Even the banks that are more flexible are being very careful. ... more
