I am not sure what is wrong. I clicked on the link above but didn't see a specific home here. If your home is showing up in the MLS system or on the Internet, it could have happened just by something being typed wrong. Many real estate companies have designated people, which their job is to put new listings on the internet and MIBOR. If they have trouble reading the listing agents hand writing then errors can happen. Give a call to the agent whom has made the error and ask for it to be corrected. They should know who to contact to fix the error. If this doesn't work then contact MIBOR and they will make sure it gets corrected. ... more

How soon are you looking to buy a home? We live on the outskirts of Indianapolis,between Avon,Indiana and Brownsburg,Indiana. We have a 3 bd/2bth ranch style home with open concept design.The living room has a nice gas fireplace. Two car attached garage with attic storage above. Nice master bedroom with bath.All bedrooms have Nice walk in closets. We also have a room off of our kitchen that we call our Florida room nice to sit out thee and have a cappiciano or coffee before beginning your day. Our home is located in a very desirable subdivision. The subdivision has trails for walking and playground for little ones. Close to shopping and restaurants as well. You have several options, and your final decision will be based on several factors:
1)if you buy in a "not as good" school district, can you afford to send your children to private schools? Sometimes the savings on the home plus savings on taxes might end up being about what it would cost you to send your kids to a private school.
2)If the home is a great deal, even in a "not so good school district', it can still be a good value if you purchased at the right price.

example: I lived in Zionsville for 9 years, we needed a larger home this past year. I couldn't resist some of the prices out there right now in this buyers market. Found a perfect home in Pike, about 30 feet outside of Zionsville for a steal I couldn't pass up. Our kids go to private school, so it was a slam dunk.

Simply said, if you are thinking about buying the operative word is NOW. Sales prices are still down, interest rates are still low, plus the $8,000 tax credit has been extended and expanded to now assist qualifying home sellers with up to $6,500.

In a few short months we don't know for sure what will happen to the market. Sales prices may go up, and interest rates may go you may end up not being able to afford as much home as you can now. Many markets are showing improvements already.

The NAR (National Association of Realtors) posted just yesterday on Twitter that Pending Sales have seen 9 consecutive gains, so it just goes to show you that things are getting better in many markets. If your waiting to buy in a "more stable market" you may miss the low and sell high.
