I think that custom homes are always the best. Unless they were built by the homeowner. Like with their hands and tools. Then it might not look so good. I love it when they build what they want but have a contractor do it because then it is everything that they ever wanted. http://www.builtbyhamilton.com ... more

Moving from TN. I see. I myself moved from Fort Campbell Kentucky outside of Nashville all most 4 years ago and love it over here. Weatherford is a very respected area. Alot will greatly depend on what type of atmosphere you are looking for urban, country, traditional, ranch land etc. Depending on what you're seeking will really dictate whether or not Weatherford will be a good fit. I have a great deal of friends out in the region of the dfw area that own gorgeous estates. I would be interested in speaking with you directly when you have the opportunity. Thank you.

I have lived on Weatherford Lake now for over 20 years and love it! The land is owned by the City of Weatherford, so you enter into a lot license agreement with the City. These are due every October 1. Each single lot is approx $2000 - $2700 based on your improvements. You still are responsible for taxes on the improvements... therefore, you own the improvements on the land and the rights to use the land. The City of Weatherford changed their lease agreement a few years back. If you would like a copy of one, please feel free to contact me. I have one on hand. ... more

You really need to speak with the lender that is repossessing it. You might be able to work with them. Your credit history may not allow you a mortgage. All the lenders that I currently work with will require a good credit history/score. Sorry I'm not able to give you a better solution to your problem. Let me know if there is anything further I can assist you with.

I strongly recommed stepping away from any lease to own. If you would like an update on how a lease to own can back fire on buyers please feel free to contact me. Plus you have to remember the seller might want to cash in now and not drag it out of multiple years.
