I am having an issue with this man. He walks by my house everyday; some days he tries to look in my front door when I have it opened for my cats to look outside. I warned him to keep his dog off my property, which is the grass by the street and my front lawn, in hopes of discouraging him to walk by my house. He didn't listen to me, so I called the police. It is trespassing in the City of Tonawanda, NY to allow a dog on your property after a person has been warned by the police. In my case that is exactly what happened. The sidewalk in between is city owned. There isn't much I can do about that. Hope this helps. ... more

I know that the homes are across the street from the Metra rail, but this one street has what seems to be so many homes for sale in comparison to other homes along the rail path.

NACA is a classic case of good intentions and horrific execution. I have purchased a home through them and while my interest rate is amazing, working with the HAND department (the required department you have to work with to do the renovations they require on the property) is an absolute nightmare. It's been over a year, my contractors have skipped town with half my budget. Despite working with their "approved" contractors, employing their required contracts, and them releasing the funds, I am completely on my own in recovering the stolen funds. They continue to require all the renovations (despite my no longer having 1/2 the budgeted money AND refuse to release the remaining funds in my name so that I can get any work done. After a year, I am being forced to hire outside council to fight for money that is in my name. They are no longer even responding requests, and executive management has been completely silent. DO NOT WORK WITH NACA.

I'm sorry I'm not very clear on what you are trying to describe above. I would suggest that you go and read your contract again. The deal can closed later as long as every party agrees to it and hopefully is in writing. ... more

Yes, you should consider Old Town and Gold Coast. -- I showed a very nice Gold Coast duplex which would be idea for someone with a dog.

Garage spots run around $250/mo (although this duplex included a garage spot).

You will need a dogsitter which there are plenty of. -- Yes, the commute to Wheaton will be at least an hour each way.

Oak Park, IL is another option since your commute will be shorter, it has that urban feel and is only about 20 min to downtown Chicago.

Are you looking to rent or buy? Sincerely, John Meyers (Meyers Realty, MeyersReatly1.com)
