Virginia Beach is a wonderful community with many housing options available. It is a diverse city offering homes, townhouses & condos at locations such as - the bay, town center, the beach, and even the country (Pungo). Feel free to email me at your convenience to discuss what options are best for you and what you consider "affordable".

THIS PLACE IS FULL OF BLACK MOLD!
I HAD TO PAY FOR NEW CARPET DUE TO THE MOLD AFTER MOVING OUT!
I HAVE PUT IN 2 DIFFERENT MOLD REQUESTS AND THE MAINTENANCE MAN SAID IT WASNT MOLD. BEFORE I MOVED OUT MY BOYFRIEND AND I PULLED UP THE CARPET TO FIND ABOUT A FOOT FROM THE WALL OF BLACK NASTY MOLD! I HAVE IT IN MY DOWN STAIRS BATHROOM, MY BATHROOM AND ON THE WALLS HERE AND THERE!

EVEN IF THE MOLD ISNT YOUR FAULT AND IF IT DAMAGES ANYTHING, YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR IT. THE NEW CARPET INSTALLATION IS OVER $1000.00 THAT JUST TICKS ME OFF!

There are many amazing neighborhoods and school districts throughout the Virginia Beach Area. The Indian River Plantation Subdivision, Eagles Nest's Newly built neighborhood and award winning homes may also appeal to your taste. These neighborhoods are slightly outside of the immediate city area and allow most residents the potential for a larger yard, perfect for growing families, great school districts, close proximity to Sandbridge Beach and a taste of the country without being too far away from the amenities you would come to expect. For more information, please feel free to contact me at any time. ... more

My son is presently attending his first choice Art and Design School majoring in Graphic Interactive Communications. We live in the Cox district, but he chose to attend Salem High's Visual Arts Academy for the added benefit of their master classes in preparation for college. I highly recommend their program and/or the school if it can be arranged for you. I recall he had district students in his classes. I will be happy to check on it for you. There is also the option of attending the Governors School of the Arts at http://www.gsarts.net/va.htm ... more

Drew, I know where you are coming from. I think it could be 2013. The reason is government programs and slow banks trying to offload to much inventory at once. It will take time after the resets until foreclosures hit the streets. ... more

Jack,

Nice area, about 1/2 million population, great schools, great weather, low crime, good cost of living, spends its money on parks and rec, tourism, schools, and police. Need advise on the best areas or where home values hold strong?

Stacia,
Our recommendation is to look for a "lease with option to buy" opportunity. Despirate times require despirate measures and creativity on the part of both the buyer and seller can make things happen.

Good luck,

Yes! Being a former San Diego Resident (though been to San Jose) you will find Virginia Beach quite inviting with great nature preserves, the fabulous Atlantic Ocean, Tributaries, Marsh Areas, Inlets, all with homes that are super affordable especially when coming from the San Jose Market. I have been a resident of the 23452 area of Virginia Beach for 17 years and am a stones throw from water.

Speaking from "experience" it is most beautiful here and quiet as well. feel free to email me or inquire by phone , I am not much for sending links and such, but it would be nice to chat by phone or email for starters. If you have kids this is awesome area to raise them and the school systems are amazing I have 2 kids in the school system here. I do have info regarding all facets of the area even if you decide to simply rent for starters. , Cheers for now!!
