Hi Lisa,

I would be happy to help you find a place that is suitable for you and your boat, but I would need a little more info about your price range (purchase or rental) and about your boat. Boat length, draft, height and type of vessel would be helpful in narrowing down areas that may work for you. Please feel free to give me a call or send me an email with a little more info and I'll send you a list and some info on the areas available.

Thanks!

Hello,

You can't beat St. Augustine. People come from all over the world to enjoy the rich history, beautiful scenery and take a stroll down St. George Street to gaze in the boutique shops in the oldest city in the nation. Even as a local I can't get enough of the it all. (Last weekend my husband, daughter and I rode the trolley and strolled around downtown) It sounds to me like you already have your heart set on St. Augustine. There are plenty of golf course communities and I would be happy to give you more information if you would like.

As has been stated, Marsh Creek Country Club is a very large and diverse community. Most of the residents reside in the community year around, but there are always homes throughout our area that are used as winter or 6 month residences by people from the north. The actual Marsh Creek Country Club is an 18 hole private golf course that winds through the community and there are many packages available for every level of golfer. A number of the homes for sale have some type of golf course, lake or marsh views! You actually have two grocery stores that are quite close to the community - within 1 mile or so, and you are also very near to beach shops and a number of good restaurants. They do have social activities ongoing and also, the clubhouse has marshview dining which is gorgeous at sunset. As far as insurance, between the homeowners insurance and a flood insurance policy, you are probably looking at around $1800 to $1900 per year - but I am not an insurance agent, so your best bet there is to ask Brightway Insurance here on the island at 904-217-7547. I attached a link to the Anastasia Island page of my website where you can click on Marsh Creek to see a search of the homes currently for sale there. I can also set it up so that you receive that search on an ongoing basis, if you would like. Let me know if I can be of further help! Karen Peil C#904-501-3070 - MyStAugustineHome.com ... more

Good morning, Pam & Mike! You have options!! You can easily get into a nice 3/2 unit for purchase or rent, on the Island. If you wish to call or email me, we have an in house mortgage consultant that is fabulous. He'll preapprove you within minutes. You don't have to use him, but, I think once meeting him, you'll want to! Go luck in your search. St. Augustine has a wonderful pool of agents that are knowledgable and professional. Just pick one and let them go to work for you! It's what we do...

St. Augustine is a beautiful area. I recommend using our auction services to get you top dollar-we are the largest in Volusia County and have superior credentials. Then you can give whatever amount it auctions for to one or more charities or even use some of the funds for other purposes--it would give you more options.

Thank you.

Please e-mail me to discuss this matter further and Good Luck to you!

Need more info...Furnished? How Old? Upgraded? How much would the home sell for? (Shows value of home & neighborhood) Rental for what period of time? 6 months? 1 year? All these are variables. A home that size could rent on a yearly basis for $750 a month to $3,000 a month depending on all the above questions. Block away from the beach can be desireable and get more to the higher amount if all the other variables are included. Anyway, give more info so we can narrow it down to a better pricing structure.
