Hi Tina,

Seasonal and full-time rentals are in high demand. South Venice has many areas without deed restrictions and no HOA fees, where your gated areas and Condos have higher restrictions and HOA fees. Depending on your investment I would love to assist you in finding your new property and showing you what is available in both areas.

Sincerely,

Honestly, I would not consider it a convenient commute from Sarasota to Raymond James stadium area of Tampa, especially during major traffic hours in the AM and PM.

You may find it better to look for a rental in St. Pete rather than Sarasota - Bradenton. That puts your wife within a more reasonable commute time to work and, since you would be commuting to Sarasota from St. Pete when most commuters are going the opposite direction (into St. Pete), your commute would be manageable.

I suggest renting for at least 6-12 months vs buying, until you know the area better and work out the commute situation to the satisfaction of both of you.

Having a fenced yard is a concern for a lot of buyers these days. It would depend on how much of a deal breaker having a fence or not would be. If you find something that doesn't have a fence, you could always get one installed. There are a lot of fencing companies out there to do the job.

Both Englewood and Venice have wonderful YMCA facilities that offer a wide variety of programs including lap pools. The last I knew the membership for either Venice or Englewood included the use of either facility. So you have your choice. Living in Englewood would only require a matter of minutes to the program while traveling to Venice could require 10-15 minutes more, depending on what part of Englewood you are located.

Either location is a wonderful choice.

Would love to hear more about your prefereces.

Best wishes,

Bill

The Sarasota/Bradenton are is a great central location to what Florida has to offer. As far as the commute to Tampa, from Bradenton it will be around 45 minutes and from Sarasota it can take up to an hour. There are many beautiful subdivisions looked next to the interstate that will make the commute even shorter. Feel free to contact me directly so that I can set you up on the computer with a search that works best for you. I look forward to hearing from you.
