Checking in MLS there is nothing found in Addison, and only one home priced over $1 million dollars in Plano, which offer owner financing right now. We can help you watch the market, but would help to know your price range, and a little more info.

Let me know if I can help.

If you buy a house for cash at closing, you will have to pay taxes and closing costs. After the closing, you just have to pay taxes, utilities, insurance and maintenance/upkeep. Out of these, only taxes are required, insurance, utilities and upkeep is up to you if you decide to pay for them. I would strongly suggest keeping your homeowners insurance and flood insurance if you are in a flood zone. ... more

I'm old school, and prefer to listen to the snow closings on KYW (1060 AM). All of the major networks have comprehensive closing information as well. If you have a smartphone, the 6ABC app is pretty good about keeping you up to date with the latest closing information.

Many contractors quote price per square foot price estimates. But what you really need is a individual quote for your particular specs.
Both ways, there is no guarantee that the numbers will not change once the job starts and the walls are opened up to discover some unforeseeable issue.
But for sure a price per square foot estimate from a contractor is going to be an over estimate, but you will not see the savings, they will never admit that it was not as bad as expected. But that said when they find an unexpected condition, it will be billed as an extra!
Each building is different; get a thorough engineer inspection report and get quotes from contractors for a written list of specs required.
Over the years I have been through many buildings with many customers and their contractors, the variation of prices, estimates and quotes for the same job is as various as a Benjamin Moore paint chart!.
The ones that come in and quickly quote a price per square foot are generally the highest prices and end up with a very generic, no accounting for individual detail etc. jobs. IE Condo developments.
Please feel free to call me, if I can be of further assistance.

Trulia is a good real estate venue for folks asking questions seeking giving advice on the Q/A platform or by contributing information and knowledge through contributing posts on the blogging platform.

I'm not particularly impressed with the blog personally. Lot's of fluff, spam, self-promotion and self aggrandizement. But I do feel folks gain some reasonably good information from experienced and sophisticated RE professionals who take the time to offer up sound advice and not just a bunch of gibberish to conjure up a lot of points.

But let there be no doubt that Trulia is a real estate professiona''s way of connecting with prospective clients and building a stronger website presence and SEO. Like anything and everything you just need to filter through things until you find something that hits your hot button.
