I would agree with the $2,000 figure but understand this is your business and if you opt for additional advertising, gadgets,training, you can spend much more. I started in business "part time" thinking this because I didnt sit behind a desk 8 hours a day. I did around $2,000,000 in sales that year and only discovered I was "full time" when my broker told me I was. full time vs part time is a question of productivity not so much hours spent. As others mentioned costs and training vary based upon agency you select.
