So do agents really like when an inspector can offer a limited warranty? I figured that would be stepping on their toes with selling a home warranty that they offer.

Laura Feghali answered:
Hi Scott,
Trulia has changed the way and how many service areas you can add to your profile since I last responded to this question.
Trulia now only allows 3 service areas for agents unless you purchase a local ad on their web site or mobile app. Then you qualify for 20 service areas.
The link to get to the page is under your "edit profile" then in the light blue box in the upper left corner there is a tab "lead preferences". Here is where it lists your assigned 3 service areas chosen by Trulia. I have not been able to edit my service areas but I believe that Trulia is working on that.

Hope this helps!

Thank you all for your answers; sometimes we are to close to the situation and forget to step back and look at things from another angle. The sale did close as a regular sale but not until a last minute, at the closing, discovery which thanks to a good attorney was quickly resolved. Your answers made quick work of understanding this situation. ... more

Hi Greg,

I think the "not to exceed one year" is the requirement for a Realtor to use our standard "fill in the blanks" lease agreement.

I believe you can enter into a longer lease term but you cannot use our Realtor standard lease agreement that has been preapproved by the Florida Bar Assn and FL Realtor Org. You may need to hire an attorney to craft the agreement if it exceeds 1 year.

All the best,
Alma

Tobias, structure wise there is not much 'modern' in Naples, but how individuals treat the interior of the residence. Naples tend to be more conservative, hence the architecture. That said if I know Modern and the concept of modern and have a grand architect who did a very modern house in the Pine Ridge Estate area that was featured in a modern (can't remember the mag's name) mag, and even , I believe, received awards for it. So let me know if that works for you...KathyBC @ 800-448-3411 ext 601 ... more

Hi Agnes,

Have your client's considered a catered event at the beach for the 150 person reception?

Otherwise, I would suggest using our MLS to search for residential rental properties that might be available.

Thanks, Carol

Agnes Tabor answered:
Maybe not but from my prospective it is what the sellers have decided might be the right thing to get the property sold. It has never been a motivation for me but if it is there it could be used to move the sale along and possibly be used to help the buyers. Circumstances are different in each case. ... more

Stacy Stateham answered:
My listings are on Realtor.com, Trulia, Zillow, Oodle, Homefinder, and several others plus the sites that they feed out to. I've been doing a lot of marketing on Facebook, both through my fan page and through ads. If you hone in your target market by age group, education level, etc you should get some good hits. I've also had good results from marketing my open houses the same way, as well as posting them on Craigslist.

I also agree with Carol - marketing to agents up here in the frozen tundra is a great idea. There are lots of people here who own vacation property in Florida and lots more thinking about it with the prices in today's market.

I'm in Rockford, IL, just north of where Carol is, about a half an hour from the Wisconsin state line. I'll also keep it in mind! Can you send me the info? I'm with Nextage Professionals. My email is realtor@stateham.com and my phone is 815.621.2826

What is the best way to get started doing BPO's and REO's. There are so many different places on the web. It is hard to tell what is a waste of time. I've been a Realtor in Portland Oregon for 15 years. Do I really need a certification?
