Cricket Forsey answered:
When you "REnt to Own" you are actually signing TWO contracts.
a) a Option to buy: where you set the terms of the future purchase in place today.
Terms include the sales price: What if prices fall before your option is up?
b) Lease: You are still technically a tenant with a landlord.

As others have said -- find a property to rent that will fit your needs until you can buy.

Good luck!

As with any train there is noise associated with it. WES operates during commuter hours so the impact is reduced. The horns are actually attached to the train crossings and automatically triggered. Hope this helps.

seriously? 4 votes for telling someone to call an attorney?

And for the record, "Cape Cod" you don't get extra points on Trulia if people leave a reply to your answer.

There are many other things that you need to tell someone in order to make that decision. Your offer if accepted should have been contingent on insurance, loan and so forth - in that process you would be able to find out this information and find out whether or not that will affect your loan or what you have to pay for insurance or if you have to pay for flood insurance which would then affect everything.

So really, I cant give you an answer without knowing much more about the siutation.

The very best way is to go to the county recorders office and ask to look through the IN BOX. You will be asked to please keep it in order. You can have info before its actually recorded and the vultures who sell lists get to it. I used to do this all the time when I worked for an investor group. We would then contact the homeowers before anyone else. Anyone who reads this tidbit and makes money---send me some candy. ... more

Hi Steve,

I read through the answers you've received and you've gotten some excellent advice! One suggestion I have that will answer your questions and make your decisions easier is to hire a home stager for a consultation. I provide a complimentary staging consultation with a professional stager on all the homes I list. The stager compiles a room-by-room checklist for the sellers and recommends the exact color and brand of paint, fixtures, carpet, tile, etc.... it's a tremendous resource!

I use Room Service Home Staging ( and highly recommend them. Feel free to let Laurie know you heard about her from me. I can give you about 100 client referrals for her, and at least half of them are homes I've listed in Tualatin. :)

Best of luck making your home more desirable to future buyers (and more enjoyable for you!). Feel free to contact me if I can help in any way.

Your ads are probably being ghosted for posting too many ads. It has nothing to do with Adjaz because I use it everyday. Adjaz has the best templates with the most customizable options available. I would watch how many ads you post regardless of what type of ads they are. Try this: Setup 1 account at craigslist using a unique email address for every ad you post. That way craigslist will think the ads are from different users! Also mix up the text and titles in the ads, dont use the same text and title for every ad you post. What happens is craigslist scans the ads you post looking for simular text and titles, once you pass a certain percentage of simularities, it will ghost the ads and you nor your potential customers will be able to view them online so make sure you mix it up if your posting more than 1 ad! Thats it! Postlets and vflyer all look the same so they suck! There is no better than adjaz! You can create ads that look the way you want them with 256 colors and many backgrounds! The others are a joke compared to Adjaz! ... more
