I'm looking for a similar answer. My listing agreement states the I'm responsible to pay the gross sales tax for both the buyer and sellers comission. My attorney says it's negotiable, but I'm not sure what the norm is, and I haven't signed the agreement bc the broker says I'm on the hook.... Btw I think gross sales tax is different in each county. For starters we have the best weather on the planet. Very outdoorsy types do well here. Incredible hiking, Sandias, beautiful mountain, a tram, the nations longest span, transports you from the desert floor to the top of the Sandia mountains were there is a lodge, ski resort and wonderful restaurant/lounge at 10,000 foot, overlooking the entire valley floor... A sunset here is just worldly! and by the way its not a ride ... its a flight! you arrive mountain top in less than three minutes! There are only three towers its amazing! Hike to the fire lookout... a 1933 conservation core fire lookout... stone cabin... very cool.

Take the Rail Runner to Santa Fe! its a high speed bullet train, While at the Depot try a green chile hamburger! Old town, touristy... We also are surrounded by 6 Pueblos, Native American ARTS, JEWELY HISTORIC... IN FACT, One pueblo, Acoma is the oldest continually inhabited site in North America ! Definitely worth a visit!

You need to work with a realtor. Understand that with high priced or high end listings, owners will not sell their homes by themselves. They will have signed a contract with a realtor. Realtors may not use Zillow or Trulia and instead use other types of advertising that caters to wealthy buyers. Get a buyers agent who can show you homes or email you listings for homes above $900,000.... more
