You can also take the Dover, NY Metro stop by commuting into Dover via rt 55 through gaylordsville.
It is much easier than going all the way to Danbury to get on a train to get to Brewster.
Getting to Dover will take about the same time to get to Danbury.

There are a lot of variables, such as coverage options and location. Call a few different insurance companies and have them give you a quote for your exact situation. Then you can decide on the best price for the coverage you want. http://www.bellinsuranceinc.com/go/home/ ... more

I think it really depends on what your lifestyle is. Litchfield county tends to have more "country" type setting but there are towns in other counties that would offer the same thing. You should focus on where in the state you would like to be... proximity to work, family, friends, etc.... then your price point.... then you should really contact a local realtor.

Feel free to call me at (203) 558-7720

Good Luck!
