Sally Grenier answered:
Is your home listed with a REALTOR? If so, the info should be coming from him/her through your local MLS. If you're trying to sell by owner, you can't do that on Trulia.

Minji,
That property did sell in December of last year for $268,000. There are some other actie listings in close proximity if you would like me to send you a list; email, call, or text me.

Walter,
Sometimes that is the problem with sites like Trulia and Zillow; how and where information is gathered is not always the most reliable. Do you know if the property at 23 East Glenwood Drive is occupied or not? Feel free to pass my contact information on if the owners want to try to avoid foreclosure and possible get some of their money out of the property. Based on their loan amount they may be able to salvage some of the equity that they originally put into the property when they purchased it. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

Enjoy the Weekend,

Don Tepper answered:
Several possible ways.

If it was fairly recently, check the age of the gas furnace.

If permits were required, check your local city permits office to see when permits were pulled for the conversion.

Call up the gas company and ask when that address first was serviced by them.

However, from your additional comments, your question (and my answers) won't get you to where you need to be. Seems as if you're interested in whether there was oil leakage. That's an entirely different question. If that's the issue, a home inspector should be able to help determine that.

Hope that helps.

Lahmed,
Like Debbie said you would get back the 20% downpayment, any principal that was paid during the year and prepaid taxes in your escrow minus closing costs and realtor fees (if any). I would be happy to sit down with you to discuss your options as well as give you a CMA (comparative market analysis) of your home. I myself live and work in Latham so I'm very familiar with the area. Feel free to call me at 518-378-8756. Chris ... more
