I would suggest using Theresa DeLaet (see below). It is now fall of 2014 and she is still selling the heck out of houses. I would ignore comments from agents from other communities in regards to Kearney as they will not know our market just as Theresa and I would not know theirs or your local market. I think if it's possible that you'll only be in the area for a year you should probably rent. You don't want to assume that you can recoup your costs if you have to sell just one year after buying. It is sometimes possible in times of rapid appreciation but it's a gamble. If you're going to be in the same area for five years buying would be a much more attractive option.... more
