Location: Jamaica Plain, not Roxbury. It also has off-street parking. Both bedrooms are full, not one partial. Again, the info on Zillow is correct.

Multi-families are a hot commodity in JP and surrounding areas this summer (2014). Jamaica Plain continues to attract a wide variety of people with its eclectic mix of great restaurants, pleasant downtown area, and access to green spaces such as Jamaica Pond, the Arnold Arboretum, and Franklin Park. Investors looking for a steady flow of renters understand that JP is an excellent choice. Single family's are also highly sought after properties in JP. The demand for any specific property always depends on a host of factors; accurate pricing, proper staging, and of course location just to name a few. But in general, JP sellers are fortunate to find themselves in an excellent market! ... more

JP is currently experiencing the most robust market conditions for home sellers since 2005. Open Houses are jam-packed with buyers and multiple offers are common for accurately-priced properties. The property you describe is in high-demand, but much depends on the results of an in-depth inspection of the structure and all major systems. With the help of a professional Realtor, a step-by-step marketing plan can be developed to market your home for the best results and the fewest sleepless nights! ... more

Hello Michael,

There is currently an availability in JP on Child St (http://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p3169093) yet it may be outside of your stated budget. Still worth checking out for comparison if nothing else.
Hope this helps at least put you in a helpful direction.
Best,

That is going to be a tough find. Brookline is a very competitive market and $1800 for 3 bedrooms might be a long shot.

Jan Crosby answered:
Dear Buyer, I would feel very uncomfortable about continuing to work with this agent. You may want to be assigned someone else in the office or find someone with whom your are more comfortable from another office. Write a letter requesting termination of your contract and see how they respond,.
Determine if you fee comfortable with another agent in that company or want to try to move on. If you feel bullied, consult a lawyer.

The leather district is a great location because it is walking distance to all major points of Boston and is not far from public transportation. It's cool because it has such an urban feel - lots of loft style apartments.
