Read what parents are saying about Enslow Middle SchoolThe teachers were passionate about their kids and the subjects they taught. Diane Fetty, Alyson Ey, and Andrea Lindberg were some of the best teachers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting as well as many others. The building was also old and still gave off that small town "junior high" kind of school feel. Cabell county did a sorry thing when they dispersed this great team of educators and consolidated into a whole new school.
Posted by a community member on 1/30/2016My grandchildren attended this school, Michael and Alycia Bird, and I found the teachers to be very qualified and caring people. If a child does not learn from this school, then perhaps the parents should take a good look at them selves, because the teachers have each child in mind to succeed and the child will if he or she applies themselves Thank You for being there Dianne Bird
Posted by a community member on 4/18/2014The teachers and administration are friendly at this school, but that alone does not qualify a school for higher ratings. There is no control and I have witnessed this first hand in the school. The control of students behavior is as much as an administration issue as it is a parental issue. Teachers have admitted that they are not allowed to report all the incidents and misbehavior because they will be punished for reporting too many violations. Teachers have also told me personally that they will not continue to teach in that environmental. My advice is don't sign a lease until you see the school first hand while the students are in attendance. We won't be returning next year either.

The teachers that I have met over the past few years are excellent and care about the children and their education, I have met other teachers from othre schools that, the way they teach, are in my opnion being over paid but this is not the case at Enslow, I have seen the results of the students that come out of this school and no one could ask for better educated children. I hate to see them leave and get consoladated, why can't Mr. Bill Smith leave things alone.
