Read what parents are saying about Montessori School Of WaukeshaWe have sent both of our children to the Montessori School of Waukesha, starting with the very first program, pre-children's house. We have now been with the school for over 10 years and highly recommend the education. The curriculum creates a solid foundation for our children for years to come and we see the benefits in our boys everyday. The teachers, and staff are fantastic and it has definitely been worth the investment.
Posted by a parent on 3/12/2017We love this school. We're sending two of our kids and a third when she is old enough. They focus on many aspects of life that are forgotten about in other schools, for instance building understanding as opposed to memorizing. They have a fundamental learning that includes many different aspects of life, they not only learn subjects like math and science but what it means to be a good citizen. Instead of demeaning children about things like being messy or loud they work with the children to build the skills they will need. All the works that the children do are based on the same principles from the beginning of their education and builds in difficulty as the child is ready for the challenge. My oldest, who was taken out for a year in favor of a technical elementary school, is much happier. He is a more inquisitive learner and just loves going to school now.
Posted by a parent on 2/21/2014My child is enrolled in the 4k program at MSOW. He is doing great and the transition from being home to going to school was smooth. He loves his teachers and has become very independent in his few months there. I am impressed by the variety of topics his has learned and how well he is grasping all the different concepts.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school was a nightmare for my children and had an immensely negative impact on their learning. Relentless bullying from key students that the school refused to ever address, but bullying toward my kids from parent volunteers, plus some key teachers. This school is racist, has no space for learning differences. They reward bullies while ignoring IEP’s. Having been a teacher for 20 years now I have never experienced such a toxic, cruel community. If you can possibly avoid this school, please do.Parent Review2y ago - Blair Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school caters to the new Spanish students, the classes are too large and this creates chaos and makes it hard for students who require more one on one attention, it's also bad for kids who are more quiet and sensitive and don't like loud and crazy environments.Parent Review4y ago - Lowell Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a new family to meadowbrook, both parents working 1st shift, before and after school care for us was absolutely critical. Didn't receive any notification or information about enrollment deadlines for the Y until a week before school started... A week too late to make 1st enrollment.. So now we have to frantically struggle to find something to work for 2 weeks as busy parents... Thanks a lot Meadowbrook for the epic failure to pass along any pertinent information for before and after care for new parents in a responsible and timely manner.Parent Review7mo ago - Waukesha Catholic - St William

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe one good thing is the education and curriculum which is top notch. The lunch is alsl way better than public school. That being said, This school can not follow a 504 plan or even remember to tell their staff that students have one. They let rich parents run all over staff and behave in a belittling and condescending way, because they "pay tuition". There is a claim they have a large focus on Christian values, but the air of gossip surrounding the parents and trickling down to the students is a huge issue. In addition when staff does hurt children, there is NO ACCOUNTABILITY AND NO APOLOGIES. They can not handle any student that doesn't fit the norm. If your student is not physically or mentally able to participate at 100% due to a disability they are likely to be made much worse here. If your child has a mental or physical disability, I urge you to seek education else where. They will negligently hurt your child. I repeat THIS IS NOT A SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN WITH ANY DISABILITY. TAKE YOUR SPECIAL NEED OR MEDICALLY NEEDING CHILD ELSE WHERE.Parent Review2mo ago
