A Half Century After Enrollment, Family Still Deriving Value from an MUHS Education. I need to belatedly thank Marquette High for the incalculable support the school has given our family, particularly this past Summer. Back in 1970, as our Dad struggled to find a way to pay for our older brother to attend MUHS, we all knew it would be worth it. But, we had no clue just how much. This past Summer, we lost that brother, John '74. Through his life, he encountered more than his share of challenges, and failed to keep up with his MUHS friendships. Very fortunately, Fr. Doug Leonhardt, SJ '56 – who had been Principal John’s senior year - heroically tracked John down. In John’s final days, Father Leonhardt ministered to him and then arranged for a funeral Mass to be celebrated at the Jesuit community chapel at St. Camillus. We were further buoyed that many Hilltoppers from John’s era joined us on that dreary day. Almost two dozen came from all over the country. Some of my favorites were those who'd never been close to John, but were nonetheless intent on paying respects to a wonderful guy who had carried a heavy cross. This experience of Hilltoppers helping us endure that day was transformative. It was a bulwark of brotherly support and brought about needed peace for our family. We are ever indebted to Marquette High.

I'm an alumni from the early 90's. They had an amazing approach to developing the future leaders of the area. The mentoring received from the teachers carried me for the rest of my life.

This school has been helpful in many aspects. It sets you up for a real working environment and never fails to educate you.

My son is a freshman this year (class of 2020) and is enjoying his 1st year, he seems to be maturing into a fine young man, and I think MUHS is part of that process. Homework is not excessive, and the clubs (robotics and after school weightlifting) that he has joined are very good. The Tuition is a bit of a struggle, but I think its worth it.

Our son, a junior and very good student needed a High School that would challenge him after grade school and we could not have asked for a better place. He has tons of homework every single day (which can at times be overwhelming) but he realizes he is being well prepared for College . Grade school was like a breeze for him but now he is really using his full potential and it is amazing to see . The extracurricular activities here are great and he is building very good friendships that I am sure will last a lifetime.I would recommend Marquette University High school to anybody who is looking for a place that would challenge their son .
