I go to wilson, and I love it. So please don't bash this school down unless you know how the students are doing, and what they're learning. I'd like to say Mrs. Alger is amazing. She's a math teacher for 8th and 9th grade (within wilson) She is hard core, and really teaches what wee need to know. Don't ...  Read more

This school has improved a lot in the last two years. Eight grade I was that impressed with however. The new principal is wonderful and has the school on the right course.

Things at Wilson for special education are the same. I feel sorry for the teachers, as the previous person stated, their hands are tied. The administration dictacts what they can and cannot do, even when they know what is in the best interest of the child. The administration needs to be replaced. Wilson ...  Read more

I agree with the last review. A big part of the problem is that the teachers' hands are tied. I've talked to a few of them. This school lacks control over the students behavior(s) during school hours. The leadership is of poor quality. The teachers need to be re-trained. This school lacks understanding(s) of those who have disabilities.

* In 2011-2012 Wisconsin used the Wisconsin Student Assessment System (WSAS), which includes the WKCE and WAA, to test students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 in math and reading, and in grades 4, 8 and 10 in language arts, science and social studies. The WSAS is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Wisconsin.
